New Athlete

New Athlete New Athlete Physical Therapy is dedicated to the restoration of total human health and performance t Our secret is simple.

The cornerstone of New Athlete is our ability to help the incomplete athlete and make them whole. Our approach is to not only restore, but more often than not, have our athletes come out more fit, better balanced, and better prepared for competition than prior to their struggles with pain and lack of performance. We do not focus on the end of the issue rather we attack the route cause of the movement issues.

Keep things simple. There’s no need to over complicate things. Sprint fast. Fall from things. Jump off things. Jump over things. Count some more. Get strong. Rinse was repeat.

Hands down the best and IMO the most constant and VBT on the planet is gravity. Gravity is a constant and is a solid, steady 9.8m/s and when used correctly is extremely effective in providing the stimulus that allows the athlete to develop tremendous capacity and the ability to absorb force. The more force you can absorb the more you can produce. .

If it looks familiar it should. A staple for mobility and overall movement pattern prep and restoration. Often misunderstood as is most training. If you know you know. BY THE WAY ran a 4.38 and he is seen crawling.

Draft prep is NOT an easy task of just run fast and jump high. There are so many factors that go into “getting a guy right” First you stay with the injury history and begin to chip away at the past and potentially current issues or ailments. Once you begin to get the athlete healthy, you then test to find out where the profiles are what are they deficient in and then provide the best prescription training wise to begin producing data that paints a picture as to whether the athletes need less more or on the right track to achieving their goals based on the position they play. Then you factor in nutrition recovery and it becomes a full-blown 10 to 12 week a time where athletes put in 52 in some cases eight hours a day, depending on the level of issues and the severity of those. After 14 draft classes, I’m beginning to feel like I have a decent handle on reading data and providing the best outcome for the athletes. Time will tell. has been an interval part of the recovery and mobility process. .does.sports has provided care with the athletes and has been a great adjunct to our process. .

Seeing the 40 from a focused perspective helps to know what each athlete needs in training and needs to accomplish to run the times required for further football employment. It’s also great to know what splits mean and what MPH is associated with those times.
