Going into the weekend, with Coronavirus on many of our minds, here is a suggestion: Gloves do not protect you if you constantly wear them. You can touch your face, bag or other objects. The virus does not pe*****te your skin but through your eyes, nose or mouth, so even with gloves you can get the virus. It is better to wash your hands often.

We have seen an epidemic of pertussis (Whooping cough) All adults should get e whooping cough booster as it is adults who are the carriers and give it to their children or grandchildren. Cal for your vaccine now.

I strongly encourage flu vaccine to everyone from age 6 months and up. Kids are like "petri dishes" in school and day care. They should get vaccinated along with their parents. If you are under 50, then you can get the Flu Mist (Nasal spray) . Others get the shot. Flu vaccine is available at no cost for children under 19. Call our office for availability.
