My immune health regime is fairly robust, and easily accessible. I practice either qi gong or yoga daily, and take 3000 IU of vitamin d and c daily, zinc, magnesium, Super7 Antioxidant complex, 10xPure Ultimate Multivitamin. I also love to mix tonic water and lemonade, and some ginger tea.

I went for a 10 mile run a few days ago, and a 5 mile today. My knee was shot from the first and seems like it hadn't quite recovered. I finished the run by switching from toe-heel to heel-toe at various points to give parts of my legs a break and will be foam rolling my IT band. Remember to listen to your body, and while you push yourself to the next level, take time for recovery.

One of the best part of this job is seeing the joy when people realize that it doesn't have to be dreary work to improve their health situation. If you make it fun by including complex movement or using a buddy, it's a lot easier to keep the habit going.

If you are interested in reducing your meat consumption for any of a variety of reasons, moral, health (excess iron, reduce calories and saturated fat), remember to include a variety of protein choices to balances out the amino intake. H**p, soy, and quinoa are among those that have all, or all but one of the essential aminos. You should also talk to someone about getting enough of the vitamins like zinc and b12.

This is my favorite version of the food pyramid or MyPlate that I've found. In general, an emphasis on unsaturated fate with a diet low in saturated fate and refined carbohydrates seems to be the best bet.

Eggs seem to be the most efficient protein, followed by whey, animal protein, other milk proteins, and the typical plant based protein. This doesn't mean that plant based diets can't work, probably just that they need to be carefully planned out to ensure proper balance of . Too much protein obviously screws with your liver.
