Seeking volunteers!
Our final practical, called a Psychomotor exam, will be held on December 6th and 7th according to state regulations. A volunteer will act as a patient for our Fall EMT students to show their ability to assess and treat. If you are willing to help, we will need volunteers from 7:30am to about 3pm. Please reach out to Melissa.Rasmussen@ccfd5.org to get more information and confirm your attendance. This is a great opportunity to get a peak into what our EMT students learn and how our program concludes a term.

Volunteer for the EMT MCI Drill – Fall 2024!

Exciting news—we’re looking for volunteers to act as patients for our EMT Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill on Wednesday November 6th, and we’d love for you to be part of the action!
Here’s what you need to know:
• We have two drills on Wednesday, one in the morning and one in the evening.
• Prep starts at 9 AM for the morning shift and 4 PM for the evening shift on Wednesday at the facility. Each drill will last about 4 hours.
• We’re going all out with special effects, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained (it’s a lot of fun!)
• You must be 18 years or older to participate.

Ready to join in? Email: Melissa.Rasmussen@ccfd5.org, last-minute volunteers are welcome too.

CCFD5 appreciates your support!
