It was a perfect day for a Farmer's Market! ☀️

Last week we hosted vendors, a coffee truck, and live music for our Memory Care and Assisted Living residents and families. There was something for everyone, and all proceeds were donated to the Alzheimer's Association! Our Program Director did an amazing job planning and coordinating this event, and we can't forget to thank Enlight Hospice of VA, Bristol Hospice Richmond, and Crater Community Hospice, Inc. for their contributions!

As Assisted Living Week 2025 comes to an end, we are grateful to be able to look back on all of the fun and excitement that radiated throughout the week.

To wrap things up, we enjoyed a delicious seafood boil, sang along with Dan the Music Man, and played some interactive games using our Tovertafel. Thank you to our residents, team members, and industry partners who helped make this week so special!

The CELEBRATION continues!

Assisted Living Week recognizes the importance that Assisted Living and Memory Care communities play in taking care of seniors who need help with activities of daily living. We are grateful to be able to do the work that we do - and it doesn't hurt to have a little fun while doing it! From door-to-door coffee bars to purple-themed photobooths, we sure know how to have a great time!

Our front yard was transformed into a petting zoo this week thanks to The Teeny Tiny Farm!

Our furry visitors got tons of attention from both our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, and we were all entertained by the grazing goats and the friendliest donkey we've ever met! We had so much fun watching and learning about our farm-friends. We hope they are able to come back and visit us again soon!

Sometimes you want to do something that's NOT on the activities calendar!

At Spring Arbor, our days often depend on how the residents want to spend their time. When crafting, art, and music just aren't cutting it, we break out the axe throwing! This activity was a huge hit with our more physically active residents. What a great way to get some exercise while having fun!
