Hi, my name is Jolene and I help stressed and anxious adults in Vancouver, Washington who are overwhelmed and feel their life is out of control. Through focused and individual counseling and coaching sessions I can help you to be present, balanced, and less stressed.
You can have a balance in your life.
There are no magic, quick fixes because it takes a commitment. A commitment that you are not used to giving to yourself, but you’ve known you needed to make.
Too often highly sensitive people feel overwhelmed and under a great deal of pressure. As a result, many men and women may stop engaging in adequate self-care, may experience guilt, and may feel emotionally and physically exhausted. Add to these marital problems, behavioral problems with their children, a lack of social support, and one can easily find themselves depressed and anxious.
When we are overwhelmed we turn to unhealthy coping strategies or they shut down and sacrifice their own wants and needs.
Humans, by nature, are relational people, and the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. By finding your voice, your meaning, your true passion, and your goals, you can begin to live a life you truly love and become the person you have always wanted to be.
If you are ready to make the commitment to yourself as you pursue living the life you dream of today, contact Jolene at Mindful Wellness Counseling (360)-818-4573 in Vancouver, WA

My dad said to me after I had learned that my grandma had a diagnosis of liver cancer, that he was worried about me because I have a soft heart.
Normally I would have been offended by this, as I wanted to be known as the tough and strong one that anyone could lean on.
But I realized after some deep personal reflection over the last couple of years that being soft-hearted is a gift. It is the soft-hearted and strong spirited that bring the compassion and creativity to the world. Who understand the needs of others, and who can intuitively navigate the world if they listen to themselves.
However, before this discovery, I thought I was just a stressed, anxious, workaholic, control freak.
