Helping another family…please consider donating, even if just a little bit. Families have to raise quite a bit of money to flee to safety. I’ve personally met one of their family members abroad who is working to crowdfund to get their family out of danger. Every little bit counts. Even if you can’t donate, you can help by circulating this link. Imagine how hard it is to leave everything you know and own 😔

My all time favorite snack:

✨Fat Bombs! ✨

If you’ve never tried them, don’t be put off by the name. Fat bombs are caloric-dense and energy-packed snack bites. These were requested often when I made snacks for coworkers! And the varieties are endless.

My recipe:
1/2 cup nut butter (I used sunflower)
1/2 cup coconut oil
Dash of sea salt
3 tablespoons flaxseed meal
1/4 cup raw honey or maple syrup
2 scoops protein powder - roughly 1/3 cup (I used Vanilla )

Over low heat, combine nut butter, coconut oil and salt until melted. Turn off heat, mix in flaxseed meal and honey until blended, then add in protein powder. Pour into silicone molds, freeze, and enjoy right out of the freezer.

These are super satiating and loaded with healthy fats for an energy boost!

It’s been exactly one year since I last made this recipe. And it’s a good one so I’m getting it back into our rotation. Super simple, quick and easy and a great way to load up on veggies and fiber!!! You can customize it with your favorite veggies and herbs. I use a dash of apple cider vinegar but it’s also great with balsamic! Switch up the beans or do a medley. Also, friendly reminder to get outside and enjoy the last bits of summer!!
