A Better Way is happy to announce that we have THREE new student interns, Taylor, Caleb, and Meagan, joining the team! They can accept Aetna, Cigna, Molina, and UnitedHealthcare insurance plans. Alternatively, they have a sliding scale cash rate of $45.

Our students have a wide array of expertise, ranging from working with young kids with Parent-Child Interaction Therapy to working with those who have gone through trauma and abuse.

Whatever your needs are, we have A Better Way of helping you during your time of need! 🙂

A Better Way Counselling is happy to welcome Conner Trewet and Piper Brown as our newest student counsellors!

They are currently looking to take on clients between the ages 6 and up, who are dealing with life transitions, self-discovery, depression, ADHD problems, grief/loss issues, trauma, and those coping with stress or anxiety.

Conner has experience working with people in high stress situations and is looking to help young adults find their path in life and express themselves through positive and truthful exploration. He used to work with kids at Glenwood heights primary school as their Social Emotional Learning Program Director with a deep understanding of the complex behavioral and social states of young children to fostered positive change through meaningful connections.

Piper is a highly empathetic counsellor working with individuals through personal and spiritual development. She has a background in theatre, hypnotherapy, and yoga and has skills working with women’s issues, LGBQ+ individuals, those dealing with chronic illness and those who are having conflicts on the spiritual or faith-based level.
