This year we thought we’d try something new. Instead of having a Potluck Picnic, we are going to host a Trunk or Treat on Saturday October 18, 2025 10am-1pm at the VCM office 302 E 37th St, Vancouver, WA 98663. Be sure to get there by 9:30am to set up and decorate your trunk. If you have a pop-up canopy, it might be worth bringing in case of rain. We will do a group photo at noon. 
We will giving prizes for:

*Best Trunk
*Best Group Costume
*Best Kids Costume
*Best Pregnancy Costume

Welcome to the O’Callaghan Clan! Rosalyn Elisabeth O’Callaghan (7 #4) joined us earthside on July 22, 2025 though the strength and grace of her powerful momma Rachel OCallaghan. Watching Ian O’Callaghan support his wife through her labor made my momma-midwife heart proud 💕 Seeing my big tough son become a father and holding his teensy daughter with such tenderness and confidence has humbled me reminded me of how the transformation of being coming a parent is truly cosmic.

Looking forward to this next chapter of becoming a Grandma and seeing what transformations it has in store for me.

And I can’t wait to learn about who my little Rosie girl is and see who she becomes 🌹

VCM Annual Picnic part 1
We had so much fun spending time reconnecting with VCM families at our annual picnic yesterday. The connections we make don’t have to end at the 6 week visit! Seeing these littles grow year after year, hearing about new jobs/careers (including the stay-at-home parent kind), seeing the big brothers/sisters grow, new homes, etc…it all just fills our cups more than you can imagine. Community is at the heart of VCM and the way it shows up at these gatherings is extraordinary. And a special “thank you” to our families who cleaned everything up as we jetted off to Battleground just in time to catch a beautiful little girl.

Congrats to midwife Emilie on her beautiful DAUGHTER! Baby Girl Jenkins came in at a whopping 9 #9 over the weekend. Serenity and I are in awe of Emilie’s strength and grace and we’re so honored to help welcome this fat little girl into the world. Bravo my friend!
