Dr. Gloria Arroyo, DC, BA, BS is the Chiropractic Physician and Owner at TriStar Family Chiropractic in the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek area since August of 2015. Where she has a unique family practice that specializes in wellness programs for individuals with Autism, dementia, neurobiological effects of trauma, pediatric mental health and developmental disabilities as well as scoliosis reduction and spinal/postural correction. Within just a few years in practice, she followed her vision of creating and currently co-manages with over 12 other practitioners in the clinic, from orientalist medicine, radiology, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, holistic health coaching, three types of massage therapy, pediatric speech & language pathology, yoga and reiki. Dr. Arroyo completed her pre-med courses at High Point University and East Carolina University with dual degrees in psychology with a minor in gerontology and recreation therapy with a minor in sports care. She has her masters in health administration from Central Michigan University. She graduated top her class at the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic where she became a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, where she also received awards from radiology services , serving underserved populations and clinical excellence. Dr. Arroyo aka "Dr. Gloria or Dr.G" has over 25 years experience in the healthcare field, from working prenatal care/labor and delivery, health care Spanish interpreter to an inpatient psychiatric hospital in NC, physical rehabilitation center in Vermont, senior living communities in both NC and FL, national caregiver support group trainer for the Alzheimer’s Association in the East coast, speaking in conferences and working as a trauma-informed specialist with survivors of domestic violence/trafficking/s*xual assault, scoliosis reduction centers in FL, caring for the sick with Chiromission in Haiti & Dominican Republic and volunteering at Easter Seals/special needs camps in Colorado-she has an array of experience and knowledge. Not only a National speaker, Dr. Gloria is very active in our local community as one of the few fully bilingual Spanish-speaking Chiropractors in Southwest Washington, she has served on the Healthy Living Collaborative board of Southwest Washington, Healthcare Chair For League of United Latin American citizens (LULAC) SW WA, Community Roots Collaborative, and Director of Health Services at the National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE). She is an active supporter for national and local nonprofits close to her heart, HOPE dementia support group, Autism Empowerment, Columbia River mental health center, Free Clinic of SW WA, Vancouver PRIDE, Q***r Youth center, Lions club of Salmon Creek, Clark County food bank to name a few. For over 5 years she has been a volunteer Chiropractic physician for a non-opioid based free clinic at Battleground healthcare . She is a busy mom of three beautiful children and on her free time enjoys wandering and exploring the PNW!

Thrive2Survive is proud to partner with Hands Across the Bridge for a transformative event dedicated to celebrating recovery and providing essential resources to our community. This exciting day will feature a walk from Esther short Park to the I-5 Bridge, where we will join hands in solidarity with those in recovery.

Attendees can enjoy a free hot meal and access vital services from over 50 partner organizations, including housing assistance, mental health assessments, and hygiene supplies. Together, we will challenge the stigma of addiction and promote wellness for all. Don’t miss this opportunity to take a positive step towards improved health and wellbeing!

Dr. Gloria Arroyo, DC, BA, BS of TriStar Family Chiropractic, A Family Wellness Center - Born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico but a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest from Central Florida over three years ago, Dr. Arroyo (a.k.a. Dr. G) has definitely immersed herself both professionally and personally. She is a national motivation speaker for Latinos, pediatric mental health, wellness and prevention health in underserved populations, Women’s rights and survivors of s*x crimes. Dr. Arroyo, has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and is passionate about her community, working to ensure a better health future for all cultures in the Pacific Northwest. From speaking on behalf of underserved populations at her state capitol to running large corporate wellness projects across the U.S. to specialized wellness care for individuals with mental health, neurodevelopmental disabilities and scoliosis.

Dr. Arroyo’s healthcare experience comes with a diverse toolbox. In less than five years in practice she sure has jumped in to being an asset to our community. She is the only Spanish speaking Chiropractic Physician in SW WA, she is the LULAC WA State Deputy Director for Women as well as the Health Care Chair for SW WA LULAC 47013 chapter, Steering committee member for SW WA Healthy Living Collaborative, serves as Director of Health Services for the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) Ethics committee member for Clark County Health Department, SW WA Opioid Task Force member, speaker/committee member of the International Women’s Festival, active supporter of Vancouver PRIDE, Autism Empowerment, SHARE, Columbia River Mental Health as well as HOPE dementia support group, she is an inaugural member of the “B2B” mentor program for Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) as well as a presenter for the GVCC Ready, Set, Go! Wellness Workshop Series.

She has been awarded the Community Leadership “Start -up to Watch” Award, Best in Business two years in a row 2016 & 2017 by the Vancouver Business Journal, SW WA Healthiest business nominee 2017 and Inaugural nominee for the Impactful Woman NW of the Year Award. She has dual undergraduate degrees from East Carolina University, received her Master’s in health administration from Central Michigan University and graduated top her class at the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. A busy mom of three, she lives and serves her community from her private practice in Vancouver, WA.
