Huge shoutout to Dr. Martin (“Doc Martin”), Michaela, Blanca, and our incredible team for turning a wisdom teeth experience into something smooth, comfortable, and even reassuring.
“I finally got my impacted wisdom teeth (all four third molars) removed at Vancouver Oral Surgery Group on 300 SE 120th Ave in Vancouver, WA, and I’m so glad I chose them. I was pretty nervous going in, but Dr. Martin Seidenschmid (everyone calls him “Doc Martin”) made the whole thing so much easier. He has a great sense of humor, took the time to explain exactly what was going to happen in simple terms, and was incredibly gentle, quick and skilled during the procedure. I barely felt any discomfort afterward. Just some manageable soreness that was way better than I expected. His experience showed as I was expecting impacted wisdom teethe to be a lot bigger deal to get out of there! I felt completely confident and cared for the entire time.
The front office and support team were just as outstanding and made everything stress-free. Michaela at reception and billing was an absolute superstar—she handled all my insurance questions, paperwork, and billing details with patience and a big smile. She explained everything clearly, followed up promptly, and went out of her way to make sure I understood my options and costs upfront. She has such a warm, professional way about her that turned what could have been a headache into something easy and reassuring. I can’t say enough good things about her! Blanca in patient care coordination was equally wonderful—she also coordinated my pre-op instructions, answered all my follow-up questions, and made sure the entire process from scheduling to recovery was seamless and supportive.
The whole Vancouver Oral Surgery Group team is friendly, efficient, and truly patient-focused. If you need wisdom teeth removed (or any oral surgery), this is definitely the place to go.
