Yesterday's posts discussed accommodations. Today we'll focus on a specific one - course substitutions. There's a lot you need to know, and too much misinformation out there. As with other accommodations, colleges aren't required to provide a substitution just because a student's high school did. And even if a college thinks a substitution is appropriate, it may not be allowed in a student's major.
