My husband and I have devoted much of 2025 to dealing with his cancer diagnosis and treatments. Around May, he opened a statement of costs to providers and pharmacies, insurance adjustments, and our out-of-pocket expenses and commented, “If we were poor, I’d already be dead.”

Wanderlust Therapeutic Services is proud to be a sponsor of the 2025 New Hampshire Treatment Court Conference.

As a locally owned and operated practice, we believe in investing in professional development right here in our own backyard. Conferences like this allow New Hampshire providers to gain advanced training and expertise without needing to travel out of state. It keeps high-quality care and specialized knowledge rooted in our own communities.

Our CEO, Melbourne Moran Jr., LICSW, also participated in advanced seminars to continue his clinical education. This ongoing training helps him maintain his credentials as a qualified expert witness and behavioral health scientist. Melbourne evaluates justice involved people all over New Hampshire and throughout the country, faciliating treatment, rehabilitation, and vocation over jail time for low risk offenders who struggle with addiction and/or mental illness.

We’re grateful to support and take part in an event that strengthens the knowledge, collaboration, and dedication of treatment providers, judges, attorneys, probation, court officials, peer recovery and so many more all across New Hampshire.

Just after our ONE YEAR anniversary of our very first Washington location, Wanderlust was proud to celebrate this milestone with our first community sponsorship to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington's annual Unleash Your Heart Gala and Fundraiser!

Our Wanderlust Therapeutic Services New Hampshire locations are well known for their community giving and charity work, which is an essential part of the Wanderlust mission set by our Founders, one of whom joined this event. We are so excited to bring that mission to Vancouver, Washington!

📰 You may have heard in the news that there are changes happening to Medicaid in the upcoming months and years.

For example, one of the upcoming changes to Medicaid is that eligibility paperwork will need to be completed every six months instead of once a year, but this change will only impact those in the Medicaid Expansion (Granite Advantage) program, not all Medicaid patients, and it won’t begin until at least December 31, 2026.

The bottom line for Medicaid patients is that these changes are not in effect yet, and your coverage remains the same for now. ✅

📅 Our NH Medicaid Matters team has created a timeline (see graphic below) that we hope will make it easier for NH Medicaid patients to understand when these changes will happen and which Medicaid populations will be impacted.
