Why Racing Events

Why Racing Events https://linktr.ee/whyracingevents.com Why do you race? Some of us race to get faster and stronger. Some to get healthy and fit. Some to lose weight. Some to win.

Others just to get to the finish line. Some of us race because how it makes us feel. Some to have fun and hang with our friends. Some race to give back to an important local charity. Some race in honor of someone we love or someone we have lost. Regardless of your WHY, we are all united on a mission to improve our own health and fitness, have fun, and hang out with like-minded people all while building our community, giving back and improving the lives of those in need. We operate from a belief system that if we all give a little it adds up to a whole lot! Together, collectively, we can achieve the extraordinary! Why Racing Events, an Event Management company, is committed to hosting runs/walks, triathlons, duathlons and other fitness events that allow for people to reach for their personal best while giving back to the community. We value fitness, fun, friends & family. Nothing brings us greater joy than watching people cross the finish line and knowing that we helped to facilitate that! So regardless of your WHY, know that we can all live life to the fullest while positively impacting others lives and making a big difference in our community.

🔥 HELLZ BELLZ ULTRA IS BACK 🔔

The bell is calling… are you ready to answer?

Join us July 5th in Yacolt, WA for one of the Pacific Northwest’s most rugged and scenic trail ultras. Runners will take on the legendary Bells Mountain Trail, with miles of forested singletrack, waterfalls, creek crossings, and epic views of Mt. St. Helens along the way.

This year we’re adding a NEW 50K option alongside the classic 50 Mile Ultra and the Purgatory Trail Marathon, giving even more runners the chance to test themselves on these wild PNW trails.

And make no mistake… these races earn their reputation.
⛰ 50 Mile Ultra – over 10,000 ft of climbing
⛰ Trail Marathon – over 6,000 ft of climbing

These are true tests of endurance and grit that reward runners with some of the most beautiful and challenging miles in the region.

But Hellz Bellz is more than just a race… it’s a full Fourth of July weekend adventure.

🏕 Camping available the night before at Yacolt Recreation Park
🔥 BBQ and race camp vibes
🎶 Live entertainment
🎆 Yacolt Fourth of July fireworks
🔔 And on race day… you’ll earn the right to Ring the Bell.

Bring your crew, make a weekend of it, and celebrate the 4th of July the best way we know how… running through the mountains with friends.

📍 Yacolt Recreation Park – Yacolt, WA

The Stub Stewart Trail Challenge is back April 5th! 🌲

Join us for a beautiful day of running through the forests of LL Stub Stewart State Park on a course that blends trail with a sprinkle of paved path, making it approachable and fun for a wide range of runners.

The course is looped, which means you get to choose your distance on race day. Start with a loop and decide if you’re feeling good and want another — or call it a day and head to breakfast. Your adventure, your choice.

And this event is about more than just the miles…

🥚 Kids Easter Egg Hunt
🥚 Trail Egg Hunt — find one of the special eggs hidden along the course and win a prize
🥞 Pancake & sausage breakfast after the race
🍺 Backwoods beer or root beer at the finish

Great trails, a festive atmosphere, and a finish line worth sticking around for.

🌿 Why Consider Donating to Our Couve Clover Beneficiary? 🌿

Couve Clover takes place in one of the most beautiful areas in our community — and spaces like this don’t stay vibrant on their own.

The Parks Foundation of Clark County works to build strong community partnerships that support and enhance parks, trails, and recreation programs throughout Clark County.

When you choose to donate during registration, you’re helping invest in the very places we run, gather, celebrate, and make memories.

If you love having safe, accessible, welcoming outdoor spaces — this is a simple way to give back.

Small contributions. Real local impact. 💚

Endless Summer Trail Run

Bivouac’s Final Endless Summer Run- Dog Mountain Edition 🏔️

Join us for the final Endless Summer Trail Run at Dog Mountain as we wrap up the season in one of the Gorge’s most iconic locations.

We’ll meet at the trailhead at 9:00 AM, with signage posted to help guide you when you arrive. From there, choose your adventure:

🏔️ The full Dog Mountain loop

🐾 An out-and-back to Puppy Point

Whether you’re in for the full climb or a scenic turnaround, this is a community-paced run — come for the miles, stay for the views.

As always in the Columbia River Gorge, weather can change quickly. Please come prepared for anything: layers, water, and proper trail gear are strongly encouraged.

After the run, we’ll gather at Backwoods Brewing for lunch, community time, and raffle prizes. Snacks and beverages will also be available at the trailhead post-run.

This run proudly benefits the Washington Trails Association (WTA), supporting the trails we love and helping keep them accessible for all. We’ll also have Endless Summer sweatshirts available for purchase, with $20 from each sweatshirt donated directly to WTA.

Come celebrate the season, support a great cause, and close out Endless Summer with us the right way.

See you at the trailhead.

You’re already showing up to run.
Why not show up for the parks too? 🌿☘️

This year, Couve Clover is proud to support the Parks Foundation of Clark County — an organization working to ensure vibrant parks, trails, and recreation programs throughout our community.

The waterfront we race on.
The trails we train on.
The green spaces we gather in.

They don’t stay beautiful and accessible by accident.

When you choose to donate during registration, you’re helping strengthen partnerships that protect and enhance the outdoor spaces we all use and love.

If Couve Clover has you excited to be outside this spring, consider giving back to the places that make it possible. 💚

Every donation helps.
