📚🧸 Curious George Day at Van Mall Retirement was a huge success! 🧸📚

Yesterday our residents stepped back into childhood joy with a special “Curious George Day” celebration! From monkey-themed activities to hands-on games and exploration stations, everyone leaned into their sense of wonder.

The message was simple but powerful: Curiosity doesn’t have an expiration date. Staying curious keeps our minds sharp, our spirits bright, and our days full of discovery—no matter our age.

Research and real-life experience both show that play is incredibly beneficial for seniors. It boosts cognitive function, reduces stress, improves social connections, and simply makes life more fun. Our residents laughed, created, explored, and reminded us all that growing older doesn’t mean growing dull!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made the day so special. Let’s keep that Curious George spirit alive every day at Van Mall Retirement!

Happy Easter from all of us at Van Mall! We had our annual Easter egg hunt with lots of grands and greats joining the fun yesterday, and today we hosted our brunch!
