I have the sweetest reason to celebrate this Mother’s Day…
My family welcomed another daughter, Taylor Grace, on May 3, 2025, at 6 lbs 8 oz, stretching long and perfect at 20.5 inches.
I sit here in the messy magic of newborn days, cracked open and overflowing.
Mama to three. Humbled. Grateful.
Reminded again that this is the most tender, powerful work there is.
Honoring the weight and wonder of what it means to mother.
We build.
We bleed.
We birth.
We nurture.
We lead.
We are weaving the future with our own hands and hearts.
We deserve care.
We deserve space.
We deserve community.
We deserve federally paid maternity leave.
We deserve affordable, accessible childcare.
We deserve real, uncompromising healthcare, not just checkboxes.
We deserve to show up with bo***es out, spit-up on, hair wild, hearts full.
So today, this post is for:
the mamas in the trenches
the ones waiting, praying, longing
the ones who mother without the world noticing
the foster moms, bonus moms, fur moms, chosen family moms
the ones doing this without a village
the cycle breakers, the matriarchs
You are the legacy.
You are the lineage.
You are mothering into new spaces.
And I see you.
I’ll be slowly returning to the office in August after I give myself this tender season of surrender and healing.
To every woman who has shared her motherhood journey with me while lying on my chiropractic table… thank you.
To the ones who have cried with me over the heartbreak of babies we’ve lost and birth and breastfeeding stories that didn’t go as we’d hoped, who have trusted me to do bodywork on their most precious newborns and children, who have allowed me to walk alongside them in the rawness and joy of motherhood… thank you.
I’m so grateful for how my work weaves so closely with motherhood, for the matriarchs of my lineage, whose names my daughters carry, for my own Mom, who not only raised me but now helps out in my practice (and is the most loving Nani to my babies), and for my business, which I’ve nurtured and grown like my fourth child.
Today, celebrate a mama.
Honor a mama.
Hold a mama.
Remind her she is the backbone of it all.
Happy Mother’s Day. 🌙 🌈🌹🐵👼🏼
