Supporting our team with Mental Health First Aid!

We are pleased to announce that Ashleigh, our HR Manager, has earned her Mental Health First Aid Certification.

Ashleigh's training covered critical topics such as depression, anxiety, trauma and psychosis, equipping her to handle a range of scenarios from panic attacks to crisis intervention. The training provided invaluable skills to support mental health within our team.

This certification allows Ashleigh to be a champion for mental health initiatives that contribute to the positive and proactive culture at Horizon Health Network, Horizon Home HealthCare and Preble Home Health Services. Her expertise will help cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive and promote overall well-being in the workplace.

We will continue to make positive steps towards removing the stigma of mental health. Programs such as Adult Mental Health First Aid is another step in the right direction.

Thank you to the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, trainers, Tiffany Kuck and Paul Lawson, and sponsor McGohan Brabender for helping Ashleigh become certified as a Mental Health First Aider.
