Brookstone Estates of Vandalia Brookstone Estates of Vandalia is an affordable assisted living community

Brookstone Estates of Vandalia provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence. The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables us to serve adults 65 and older of all financial means, including those on Medicaid. Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the personal assistance and help with medications that they need. Brookstone Estates of Vandalia is managed by Gardant Management Solutions, a mission-driven company that is the largest provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois.

This months Eat Smart Recipes class has us on a journey to bake our way through the decades. Our wonderful dietary manger Robbi baked us 2 recipes from the 1900s, we had fun learning some info about this decade and trying both pecan delights and cornflakes macaroons.
