We are pleased to introduce Charley Massie, our dedicated Apprentice Funeral Director at Waters Funeral Home. Charley has a sincere passion for serving families and considers it a privilege to support them during some of life’s most challenging and meaningful moments. His compassion, professionalism, and steady presence make him a valued member of our team. 💪🏼

In addition to his role in Vandalia, Charley also assists when needed at Smith Funeral Home and Grandview Funeral Home in Hannibal, extending his care and support to families throughout the region.

Outside of his work, Charley is an avid 🏟️sports 🏈 fan, and one of him and his wife’s greatest joys is watching their children play the sports they love. ⚾️

When he isn’t cheering from the sidelines, Charley enjoys spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming, and relaxing at the lake with friends and family. 🏊🏼‍♂️ He also enjoys carpentry and construction projects. 🛠️
