Good afternoon!
I just got back from delivering 2 weighted blanket t-shirt quilts! My customer, also a 4 Paws puppy raiser, loves them! The blankets are for her two granddaughters, whose father is leaving on a year long deployment with the Air Force. The blankets are made from his t-shirts. Isn’t that a great idea? My latest quilt is also a weighted blanket!!! I made this for a dear friend whose family tartan is the plaid in the center. I couldn’t find anywhere to buy the plaid, so I pieced it!

I sent the fourth of four weighted blankets to the wonderful 4 Paws family in Maryland who have given me my largest order to date, and the first non-family out of state order! I love making these blankets because I know they will help those who receive them and ALL of the proceeds go to 4 Paws for Ability to help with the wonderful work they do! Thank you, Anne Smith! A few months ago, I decided to make weighted blankets and donate all the proceeds to 4 Paws for Ability! Well, I just completed my accounting for the weighted blankets I made in the last 4 months and have a check for $160 for 4 Paws! THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS PROJECT! I am including a cute picture of Cindy Lou, the 4 Paws puppy we are fostering, on a weighted blanket, because she is adorable! I am continuing to sell these blankets and lap pads to benefit this wonderful organization! Another weighted lap pad to benefit 4 Paws for Ability ! The colors were chosen to coordinate with my client’s office. (She is a therapist). I think she chose the perfect colors!
