So many of you may not have heard of Mandy Harvey. But she is an amazing inspiration for those of us with Ehlers Danlos syndrome. She lost her hearing at18 because of EDS and she was a singer song writer. She had to figure out how to sing and do what she loves and would not give up. She wrote a song called try that hits close to home when most of us feel beat down by new and ongoing chronic illnesses we suffer from. She is truly and inspiration! Check out her video.

Ehlers Danlos is an invisible illness they say is rare but what we are finding out that it in fact isn’t rare but rarely diagnosed. The average time it takes to receive a diagnosis without knowing it is in your family is 10 years.

Our goal is to lessen that time line. We can do that by putting together resources and educating everyone so that it brings the awareness to this so more medical professionals will become knowledgeable of this and the many other issues that go along with EDS and other invisible illnesses.

Most of the time our symptoms are diagnosed but they rarely look for the source until things get worse and after many visits to the ER. Education and awareness can make a difference.

A lot of people have inquired about donating so we can set up funds for those who don’t have insurance to be able to receive medical treatment and get a diagnosis. We are still in the process and will notify everyone when we have everything set up. We also want to work out the set costs for anyone we refer.

The condition often fatigues and places the afflicted in day-to-day pain, but since this is an "invisible disability," patients say they've also endured real-world stigma.

Well guess what?!? We did it again! Voted Best of Southern Utah for Massage three years in a row! We even lost 5 days of voting but we still kept our title! That says a lot about the love and support we have!
