π’ Important Update on Telehealth Services at Appalachian Family Care, LLC

We are still here for you in person!
AFC, LLC continues to accept Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Virginia Marketplace (ACA insurance), TriCare, ChampVA, and most private insurances offered through Virginia employers.
We are also working hard to stay open 6 days a week to provide convenient care for Buchanan County and the surrounding area.
β οΈ However, due to upcoming federal changes, effective September 30, 2025, AFC, LLC will no longer be able to bill insurance for telehealth services.
π To ensure continued access, we will still offer cash-pay telehealth visits at $80 for a single-issue brief visit.
This change may affect patients who:
Use telehealth outside of approved originating sites.
Rely on Medicare/Medicaid coverage for virtual care.
Face barriers to in-person appointments.
We remain committed to our patients and will notify you if federal action restores telehealth coverage.
