June of 2020 will mark the Vassar High School Class of 1970's 50th anniversary of our graduation. We are asking for your ideas on the time of year for a reunion and possible venues. Are we looking for summertime and a possible Riverfest event or maybe October and Homecoming? Please comment below. Also, who would like to help make this happen?

Vassar had a GREAT Homecoming week. Thursday was the parade and bonfire. It was very exciting because our HOMETOWN HERO, Sargent Travis Mills, was Grand Marshall and guest of honor at the bonfire. Friday the school hosted a block party with hotdogs, chips and pop provided by Shop Rite. There was a DJ and lots of music. The game ended with a VICTORY for the Vulcans!! I am posting a link that shares some of that story from the paper.

Today, the Vassar Central School 6th graders are in Washington D.C. on their class trip. They will be making a stop at Walter Reed Hospital to sing the Vassar Fight Song to Staff Sargent Travis Mills of Vassar. This idea came right from the kids and approval has been given to allow them to do this. Way to go Vulcans!!!
