Vassar had a GREAT Homecoming week. Thursday was the parade and bonfire. It was very exciting because our HOMETOWN HERO, Sargent Travis Mills, was Grand Marshall and guest of honor at the bonfire. Friday the school hosted a block party with hotdogs, chips and pop provided by Shop Rite. There was a DJ and lots of music. The game ended with a VICTORY for the Vulcans!! I am posting a link that shares some of that story from the paper.

It's been nearly six months since Army Staff Sgt. Travis Mills, 25, lost parts of all four of his limbs in an explosion while on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan. Here are some of the headlines from Mills' return this weekend.
