We would like to give Gering a big shout out for hosting this year's Engine Academy and everyone that helped set it up. It was an awesome learning experience with not just departments from Nebraska but from Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota.

When the tone goes off at 1:00 in the morning (r anytime), a firefighter, EMT, or rescue person is startled awake, jumps out of bed, gets dressed and is en-route. Regardless of the hour, the weather conditions, the holiday or event -when needed, they promptly respond.🚒🚓🚑
