Next week we will be training all of the children on how to be a REINDEER! Kids will be using their therapy session times to play Reindeer Games working on multiple fine motor, gross motor, language, speech and sensory goals. They will master the skills needed to help Santa fly through the sky to deliver all of the Christmas cheer!

Plus, since we are less than 2 weeks away from Christmas and less than one week from Christmas break, we invite everyone to come with all of their best and most favorite holiday attire! Ugly Sweaters, Pajamas, Christmas Shirts, and even Christmas hats and jewelry!

We can't wait to see all of our Reindeer next week and celebrate the most WONDERFUL time of the year with you! 🎅🎄🎁

🎄 We are having so much FUN over here celebrating the holiday season with Christmas crafts, games, activities and obstacle courses to work on all of our goals while keeping the kids engaged and having fun!

Did you know that most of the holiday activities and traditions that you do at home could also be working on your child's goals?! If you would like to know how to make one of your holiday traditions more purposeful and therapeutic, comment below or ask us during your next session!

Heads up!

Crews will be working in our building's parking lot to resurface. Starting today, They will be blocking off sections strategically to ensure parking is safe and we can still access the building. The area in front of our door is expected to be blocked Monday Dec 8th through Tues Dec. 9th. Please feel free to park in other areas of the lot during these times. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!!

Donations have already started coming in for The Twig and we could not be more excited to see this tree start to fill up! 🥰🎄

If you are planning to do some shopping over this holiday week or on Black Friday, make sure to grab an extra item (or 2!) in your cart to bring in! Each item earns you an entry into our gift card drawing, but more importantly, will bless another sweet child in our local foster care system.

🌟Challenges with latching, head tilt or turning preference, constipations, reflux, colic, and sleep patterns are COMMON, but NOT NORMAL in typical development. These challenges are our body's way of asking for help. Often times, Body Work can be a gentle but very effective way to work out tension in the body that is causing these symptoms , getting to the root cause.

🌟Why choose Purposeful Play for Baby Body Work? Often times, we find that babies and children require support following body work, as we release tension and identify deficits in strength or tone.

🌟Our Baby Body Work is provided by Miss Kelly, an Occupational Therapist with specialized training in CFT, myofascial release, body work techniques, primitive reflexes and sensory integration. Her expertise allows us to identify what, if any, further interventions may be needed to get your baby back on track. And the bonus- we can usually refer to disciplines right here in our office!
