From our physicians’ contributions to subspecialty programs such as ASOPRS to their involvement in various speaking engagements, the event showcased our continued commitment to advancing excellence in ophthalmology.

It was also a pleasure connecting with industry partners who share our dedication to innovation and patient care. We look forward to next year in New Orleans!

We are excited to share that John P. Fezza, M.D. will be speaking at the AAO Conference.

On Thursday, October 16 at 12:38 PM, Dr. Fezza will be a part of the Young ASOPRS Luncheon, speaking on Petrichial Brow Lifting as well as at 3:45 PM, Dr. Fezza will be a panelist during the BREAKOUT SESSIONS "How I Do It" during the aesthetics portion.

On Friday, October 17 at 3:20 PM, Dr. Fezza will once again be included during the BREAKOUT SESSIONS "How I Do It" section as an aesthetics panelist.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jordan Shoemaker, PA-C, to the Center For Sight Sarasota team!

Jordan is a Florida-licensed Physician Assistant with a strong background in compassionate, patient-centered care. Before joining our team, she practiced inpatient Hematology/Oncology right here in Sarasota, building meaningful connections with patients and their families.

At Center For Sight, Jordan will be assisting our surgeons in performing precise cataract procedures, and will soon be offering advanced dry eye treatments. She’s also an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jordan is available now to start seeing patients at the Center For Sight Sarasota location.

We are proud to share that Dr. Priya Mathews, MD, MPH will be speaking at the AAO Conference.

On Friday, October 17 at 11 AM, Dr. Mathews will join Dr. Graham Barrett, MBBCh, for a panel titled “Refractive Surgery 2025: A Journey in Innovation and Advancements.” She will discuss the refractive lens exchange procedure in a 50-year-old plano presbyope, highlighting both the benefits and considerations of this approach.

We are thrilled to welcome Optometric Physician Dr. Jenna Getman to the Center For Sight Naples team! We are so lucky to have such a compassionate and dedicated doctor join us.

A Naples, FL native, Dr. Getman earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry and completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the Providence VA Medical Center. With a strong background in managing complex eye conditions, she’s passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care to every patient she meets.

Her love for optometry comes from a deep appreciation for how vision impacts every part of life as seen through her volunteer work in eye care in Belize and with athletes at the Tennessee Special Olympics. Outside the office, you can find her enjoying live music and musicals with her fiancé, spending time with family and friends, or relaxing with her cat, Lila.

We are happy to welcome Optometric Physician Dr. Khrystyna Ostrozhynska to the Center For Sight Englewood team. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful doctor on board!

Dr. Ostrozhynska is multilingual speaking Russian, Ukranian and English. Through her experience with vision therapy as a child, itinspired her to help others with their eye health. She moved here from New York with her family, and is eager as ever to be involved in the community! She has been practicing optometry for 9 years and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University. She loves working with patients of all ages and always makes sure that each patient feels heard and educated before discussing treatment options.
