Good Samaritan Pharmacy and Health Services Good Samaritan Pharmacy is a 501c3 nonprofit providing no-cost medications and medical services to the uninsured, financially needy in the community

Good Samaritan Pharmacy Inc., formerly Community Pharmacy of Sarasota County Inc., opened in January of 2008 and dispenses free, specific routine medication to eligible residents in need from our on-site pharmacy on Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm (for Pre-Approved Clients Only). In addition, our volunteers assist residents in applying for free, long-term assistance for their expensive, brand-name medications through manufacturer assistance programs. All of the services offered are free to eligible residents.

Good Sam Health Services would like to express our sincere gratitude for the generous $5,000 grant we have received from The Junior League of Sarasota. This funding will help us provide women in need in Sarasota County who have no health insurance, access to essential medications, healthcare services, hygiene products and over-the-counter items they need to maintain their health and well-being.

This support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many women in our community, helping us continue our mission to provide free medication and medical services to uninsured, financially needy members of our community...

The UU Congregation chooses local charities to support throughout the year. The collection on November 10th will benefit Good Samaritan Pharmacy & Health Services in Nokomis. "Good Sam" provides free medication and medical services to uninsured members of our community.
