Today we had such a wonderful time visiting a local senior living residence to share our Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body presentation! 🦷💙 We talked all things dental, played trivia and handed out prizes, enjoyed some light refreshments, and wrapped up with a great Q&A with Dr. Lavin. Everyone got a goodie bag and had a little fun too :) We even met a lovely resident who’s 100 years old — and still has all her natural teeth! 👏🪥

Lavin Family Dental got to make another trip to our favorite local elementary school! We love teaching the littles about sugar bugs, tooth brushing, and flossing! One of the questions was, “who knows what a cavity is?” And a little boy raised his hand and shouted “The green stuff!” 🤣 close enough 🦷😂

We had a very special patient stop by while visiting the Lavin family this weekend — Dr. Lavin’s nephew! No cavities for this Phillies and Eagles loving dude! (And yes — that’s a xylitol lollipop he’s enjoying. Have you ever tried one? Xylitol is a natural sweetener that actually helps fight cavities!)

Had the best time visiting a local elementary school this week and teaching the kiddos all about dental health! We talked about why our teeth are so important, the best way to brush and floss, and even some fun animal teeth facts. Everyone got goodie bags and prizes, and we’re so grateful to be part of the Venice community. Can’t wait for the next one!

Just finished a great case for a 14-year-old born without lateral incisors. We placed Maryland bridges—conservative, lightweight replacements bonded to the back of nearby teeth. They look natural, work beautifully, and act as smart space holders until he’s old enough for implants. Planning for a perfect smile, now and in the future!
