November is American Diabetes Awareness Month, and at Amplified Chiropractic and Wellness, we’re spotlighting a simple but powerful shift for people living with diabetes or prediabetes: mindful eating.
Instead of just focusing on what you eat, mindful eating asks: how and why you’re eating. Slowing down, paying attention to hunger and fullness cues, and eliminating distractions can help stabilize blood sugar, reduce emotional eating, and deepen your relationship with food.
Start small: turn off screens at mealtimes, take a moment to breathe before the first bite, notice flavour and texture.
