Beau went to his new home today after our 4 week preparation campa as a future service dog for Kathryn. Katrhyn’s current service dog Zoey is 9 and is getting resdu to retire, so Beau has big shoea to fill ❤️
Training a service dog is not just training obedience it’s also teaching the required tasks to assist. And most importantly it’s working with the handler/dog team to make sure they are a real team relying on each other!
So after the holidays the training will resume and we are proud to be a part of this journey!

I am Charlie and it’s my second day of Star Puppy Camp at the Academy.
I think I really like it here these humans are a lot of fun and they also have a lot of rules, which are fun to follow! We even did the decorations for some big Holiday coming, guess I will find out what it is soon…
I’m already learning lots! I’ll keep you posted on my progrrrrresssss

We can train any dog. That’s half a job for dog trainers. The important harder task is to teach the people how to provide care, support, guidance and love for them from a dogs perspective and not human. This not only builds confidence, it makes the dogs feel fulfilled and happy and wanting to learn and do more with their humans. That’s a skill a good dog trainer must have and that’s what we do at the academy🙂

Our puppies know how to greet people politely, heel on leash with purpose and focus on you, out and drop, come when called, relax and be quiet. Most importantly they love obedience and learning and they are ready to become the best Canine Good Citizens 💕
December puppy camps registration starts this Monday
