This book is a beautiful (& included) accompaniment to a complete childbirth education course.

This will be my most comprehensive option available, covering everything from meditations, comfort measures, tips for partner, evidence-based risk / benefit analysis, community resources, and so much more.

Hello! Most recently I have been working on expanding my practice to include postpartum doula services, which I’m so passionate about! I’ve just completed the Active Birth Institute postpartum workshop and am ready to start caring for families not only in pregnancy and birth, but also during the postpartum period. I believe that the greatest thing we have to offer others is ourselves. Each of us is unique. Because of that fact, no one can be or do exactly what YOU can. I encourage parents to interview several different doulas to see who is the right fit for you. How do you feel when you’re with them? Many of my fellow doulas are very different than me. I’m sure some will be attracted to them over me and vice versa. And that’s awesome! Because the most important thing to me, my greatest driving factor in work ethic, is that families are being provided for in the ways that they need. Healthy mothers, healthy babies. I love and cherish my sisters and brothers in the birth community because I realize how fundamental it is to our
