Have you wanted to try yoga but you are an absolute beginner and don’t feel comfortable just walking into a class with experienced yogis? Or, did you jump into practice and feel like you missed out on the basics?
Well, come to YOGA 101. A five week course for real beginners. We’ll start with the foundation and you’ll leave feeling confident you can attend any class, use props, and make modifications on your own to suit your practice. Each week is a different topic, starting with seated postures and ending with a moving breath linked practice.
1. Seated postures, forward bends, and twists
2. Standing postures
3. Breathing and balancing
4. Clean up week (transitions)
5. Vinyasa (linking breath and movement).
