Surfside Structured Sober Living is located just blocks from the ocean in the heart of Ventnor City, New Jersey. This New Jersey Sober House is a structured sober living environment for young men ages 18-35 as they transition from addiction treatment through recovery into a new life. Rooted in the 12 steps, we use an array of tools and activities to help young men and their families rebuild, redis

cover and recover. Our Structured Sober Living program serves addicts/alcoholics and their families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland and Delaware.

Last night, Ian & Alyssa joined hundreds of other grateful Caron supporters at the Caron Philadelphia Awards Gala.

It’s an honor to celebrate their life-changing work and support their fundraising efforts. But our favorite part is reconnecting with folks from who have laid the foundation for so many of the men who walk through our doors.

A handful of staff, residents and alumni are competing in the 2025 CrossFit Open. 🏋🏽

Some of these guys train 5-6 days a week to be competitive athletes, while others are simply stepping outside of their comfort zone.

Regardless of training or skill, at the end of the open, we will know a few things to be true:
1. We kept our word and finished something we started.
2. It was GUARANTEED that we were not going to win this comp, but we did it anyway. We didn’t avoid something simply because we weren’t going to be the best.
3. We refused to let fear or anxiety stop us. We outperformed everyone else who never even gave it a shot.

Here’s to the final workout, which will be released on Thursday!

Bryan is part of our incredible team of Support Staff - these are the guys who show up nights, weekends, holidays, and when the rest of the world is sleeping peacefully. He’s often the person talking to someone who can’t sleep, or coaching the crew through a challenging CrossFit workout. Help us wish him a happy anniversary!

A few days of warm Spring weather calls for paintball at Camp Surfside! 🏕️

Our Private 11-acre campsite is tucked into the middle of nowhere, about 20 minutes from . We load the van with our paintball gear and trek out to the site, where we built our own paintball field.

Sometimes early recovery feels like life is kicking us while we’re down. There’s power in doing stuff that makes us feel like a kid again - friendly competition and a lot of laughter. Don’t knock it til you try it.😊
