Flow And Elevate SurFlow Yoga beyond the Asana

Injury and pain are your teachers!
My journey to yoga started with my hip being twisted in 3 different directions. I am grateful for this experience and how it molded me to who I am now. Because of it, I teach the Flow & Elevate style 💜

This isn’t just Hot Vinyasa.

This is where you meet yourself.
Injuries. Tension. Old patterns.
They’re not setbacks—they’re your teachers.

This is your calling to start healing.
Friday’s
9:30 AM

We slow it down to tune in.
To observe. To retrain. To rebuild strength from within.

Come ready to move differently.
Leave feeling like you understand your body for the first time.

Wrist sensitivity? Here’s a new way in.

Most people think wrist pain means skipping poses like plank or downward dog.

It doesn’t.
It just means you haven’t met the right support yet.

The balance board changes the game—giving you something to hold onto, not just press into. By gripping the sides, you take pressure out of the wrists while still building strength, stability, and confidence in your practice.

This is what accessible strength looks like.
Not avoiding the pose…
But evolving the way you meet it.
Your practice should work with your body, not against it.

THIS IS WHERE CONTROL MEETS FREEDOM

Most people try to fix their hips…
without ever looking at their feet.

But here’s the truth:
If your ankles are stiff, your knees lock.
If your knees lock, your hips lose freedom.

This simple rocking motion retrains your entire system.
Better movement doesn’t start where it hurts—
it starts where you’ve stopped moving.

If your mind feels chaotic…
your breath is the doorway out.

Alternate nostril breathing = balance in real time.

9 rounds every morning
to shift from survival mode → grounded presence

Because calm isn’t something you find.
It’s something you practice.

Mostly I starr SurFlow with this pranayama as it resets the nervous system and brings you right into your body.

A negative mindset will never give you a positive life.
And I don’t say that lightly.

Life gets hard. I know that firsthand.
There are moments where it would be easier to spiral,
to overthink, to go down the rabbit hole.

But every single time…
I come back to what’s right here.

The breath.
The body.
The sound of the water.

I’m a born optimist—
not because life has been easy,
but because I chose not to stay in the dark.

You don’t have to ignore the hard.
But you don’t have to live there either.

Look around.
There is always something to hold onto.

Gratitude isn’t small.
It’s everything.

“POV: your trunk is 90% yoga boards and 10% ‘hope this all fits’ 😂”

“My workouts aren’t separate from my life…
They prepare me for it.
This is what strength looks like behind the scenes.”

Beyond the Asana ✨

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about feeling more.

When we step off the mat and onto a new surface, everything changes—
your balance, your focus, your awareness.
And that’s where the real practice begins.

This workshop is your shortcut to strength, alignment, and deep mind-body connection.
A space to let go of comparison, soften the ego, and meet yourself exactly where you are.

Knee down? Perfect.
Shaking? Even better.
Present? That’s the goal.

Designed to move with more intention, more consciousness—and have some fun along the way.
Join me this Sunday. 04/19 1:00pm -3:00 pm

Let’s go beyond the asana. 🌊

I’m not always motivated.

But I stay consistent—because I have a reason.

My body has been through injuries, especially in my spine…
and I know what it feels like to lose strength, stability, and trust in yourself.

So I train.
Not for aesthetics.
Not for motivation.
But to stay strong.
To stay aligned.
To stay capable.

This is the standard I hold for myself—
because it’s the same strength I hold for others.

I’m not motivated all the time.
But I am consistent.

Because this isn’t about chasing a feeling…
It’s about honoring my body.

After everything my spine has been through, I don’t have the luxury of “skipping.”

I train to stay strong.
I move to stay aligned.
I show up because I’ve learned what happens when I don’t.
Consistency is my self-respect.

It’s my healing.
It’s my choice—every single day.
