I recently completed the Mujeres de HACE Leadership Program a cohort designed specifically for Latinas who are building something, growing into their leadership, and doing it in community with other women who get it.
And at the end of it, I participated in my very first pitch competition.
Did I win?
That depends on how you define winning.
Because showing up as a Latina, as a wellness founder, as a first-gen woman standing in a room and saying this work matters and our community deserves it —that is the win.
This is exactly why Pink Means Go exists.
Because when Latinas don’t see themselves in wellness spaces, in leadership rooms, in pitch competitions we start to believe we don’t belong there.
And we do.
We always have.
We need more of us in these rooms, amigas.
I am so excited and looking forward to launching the para dońa chair yoga training workshop this year.
