Most in-network midwives are hospital based midwives and you just need to let your insurance company know that the list they provided does not include any homebirth midwives. If there are homebirth midwives on the list - call and ask them about their availability. Often homebirth midwives cap the number of clients they take each month and after you confirm that you can let your insurance company know.
