Stone Massage, both hot and cold, has become a very popular form of somatic treatment. In addition to the physical and energetic affects that can be achieved with the stones, clients report feeling deeply relaxed and grounded in the present when stones are used in their sessions.

This one day workshop will give you all the knowledge you need to incorporate stones into your current work or make them the focal point of the session.

QI: “subtle breath” or “vital energy” and GONG: “skill cultivated through steady practice”

Come and move some Qi with us, Saturday, October 11!

Qigong improves one's mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent. This practice opens the flow of energy in meridians used in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. It enhances our ability to feel the Life Force underlying the physical world and to deepen our communication with it. Physically, slow, gentle movements warm tendons, ligaments, and muscles; tonify vital organs and connective tissue, and promote circulation of body fluids.

Often, we learn to divide our bodies up into parts that break and need to be fixed in order to maximize productivity. When in fact, we are a collection of organic, interrelated processes unfolding in time and space.

What if you could learn how to care for your body like a living being? What if you could develop the skills to inhabit your body in its full aliveness? And what if you could help others do the same?

Good news, friend. There is a school that teaches this.
