☄Lightly roast ajwain and put in a small cloth to sniff on for nausea and nasal blockage (little goes a long way)
☄1/2 teaspoon of ajwain and salt with a cup of warm water can reduce stomach discomfort and pain

💩If undigested food is seen in stools, it is best to let the diarrhea continue for sometime
HOW
💊Rice with buttermilk/yogurt: Cook a cup (or desired amount) of basmati rice and add in 1/2 tsp of ghee when water starts to boil. When rice is cooked, take out in a bowl and add 1/4 cup of yogurt or 1/2 cup buttermilk and mix well. Adding in digestive spices is a bonus!
💊Buttermilk with fenugreek seeds, cumin, and salt: Take 1/3 cup of yogurt and fill the rest of the glass (about cup) with water. Add in fenugreek seeds, cumin, dry ginger powder, and pink salt. Mix well and drink!
💊Fenugreek Seeds: Roast 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds and slowly chew and swallow
💊Pomegranate: Take fresh pomegranate and juice it or boil the pomegranate leaves in water and drink warm
💊Bilva: Take 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of bilva powder, mix in water water and drink before meals once or twice a day

🙌Hot Water: Drink a glass of hot water first thing in the morning and at bedtime
🙌Triphala: Take 1/2-1 tsp of Triphala powder at bedtime with a glass of hot water
🙌Castor Oil: Take 1 tsp of castor oil and drink hot water after to drain it down at bedtime
🙌Spiced Tea: For a 8-10oz cup; boil water and add 1 tsp of: Coriander, Ajwain, Fennel, Turmeric, and 1/4 inch of fresh ginger (shredded). Boil for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Drink in the morning or make a bigger batch to drink throughout the day
🙌Avoiding Causative Factors: First line of treatment is avoiding the causative factors. Avoiding cold water, chips, crackers, potatoes, salads, smoothies, cold sandwiches, iced coffee, etc will allow for your Agni to function properly.

🍔We live in a world where we find more processed foods than fresh foods. While it is hard to avoid such foods, it is always a good idea to look into the ingredients to better navigate your food options!
🍔These are just a FEW of the toxic ingredients that are added to food
HOW
🍟Monosodium Glutamate (MSG): Sodium salt from glutamic acid which enhances flavor. Studies have linked MSG to headaches, obesity, CNS disorder, liver damage, etc.
—> Found in a lot of Asian cuisine, frozen foods, salty snacks
🍟High Fructose Corn Syrup: Artificial sweetener derived from GMO corn. Linked to obesity, diabetes, inflammation, and other chronic illnesses
—> Found in sodas, candies, juice, etc.
🍟Trans Fat: AKA Hydrodenated oil. Hydrogen is added to vegetable oil, which converts the liquid to solid fat. This increases the shelf life of the products. Trans fat increases LDL (bad cholesterol), increases risk of heart disease, inflammation, and can lead to diabetes
—> Found in biscuits, popcorn, baked goods, margarine, fried foods, etc.
🍟Artificial Flavors and Colors: Chemicals to mimic flavors and brighten the color of the foods. It clearly says artificial which means, it is not natural for our bodies. Increases symptoms in kids with ADHD, cause allergic reactions, abdominal pain, and even has carcinogenic properties
—> Found in candies, chips, baked goods (especially cakes), juice, etc.
🍟Sodium Nitrate: Used as a preservative especially in meats to stop bacterial growth as well as enhancing the color. When the nitrate is exposed to heat, it can turn into nitrosamine (negative impact on the body). Linked to different types of cancer, and thyroid issues
—> Found in many processed foods and meats
🍟Refined Vegetable Oil: This includes; corn, soybean, peanut, cottonseed, canola, etc. They can be high in Omega 6 which can lead to inflammation, heart disease, cancer, etc.
—> Found in chips, processed foods, bread, baked goods, etc.
