How does the Waitlist work?

Pre-Registration for classes is encouraged! Classes can fill up quickly so add yourself to the waitlist.

If a spot opens up, you'll be automatically added to the class (this can happen overnight for early am classes)

You'll get a notification via email or SMS (depending on your communication preferences) when you're moved into class.

You can check your position on the waitlist on the Walla App by going to your Bookings.

If your plans change, and you no longer plan to attend class, please remove yourself from the waitlist to free up space for others.

Our Front Desk team contacts waitlisted clients before class to offer them any open spots- please make sure to opt into SMS in the Walla App to receive these notifications.

If your High Lunge feels like a leg burner with zero stability… this is probably why.

Most people keep the back foot soft. The leg stays sleepy. The posture feels shaky.

Try this instead:
Press firmly into the ball of your back foot and send the heel straight up to the sky.

That pressure into the mat wakes the whole back leg up. Suddenly it straightens and activates — and everything else starts to fall into place.

Front knee stacks.
Back leg fires up.
Hips square off.

And that’s the moment it clicks:

Today, Kathrin is bringing something special to the studio with her SurFlow Workshop — a whole new way to move, balance, and connect with your practice. 🌊

If you haven’t met her yet, here’s a little about Kathrin:
• Architect by day
• Big fan of stuffed cabbage rolls
• Favorite postures to practice: Tarasana and Restorative Low Cobra

Her advice for new students:
Let the expectations go. Accept where you are. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Trust the process, stay consistent, and enjoy the wild ride.

An 805 local and former UC Santa Barbara Gauchos women's basketball athlete, Karena brings serious experience to the studio. Her background spans personal training, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Pilates, dance, gymnastics, and competitive fitness — including time as a champion National Physique Committee figure model.

But what really drives her is helping people discover what their bodies are capable of. Karena believes strength and confidence through movement is one of the most powerful forms of self-expression — and a key ingredient for a long, healthy, happy life.

Expect classes that are strong, focused, and seriously empowering.
