With passion to change lives BeachSide CrossFit was Established August 2010. BeachSide CrossFit is a CrossFit training facility located in Ventura, CA and is designed to achieve three objectives, Health, Fitness and Performance through strength and conditioning, with a emphasis on strength. BeachSide Crossfit has been established as the premier spot for CrossFit training in Ventura and surrounding areas. We offer specialized Olympic Weightlifting training, nutritional guidelines and direct coaching on a personal level.

What is health and fitness? We have observed that nearly every measurable value of health can be placed on a continuum that ranges from sickness to wellness to fitness. Though tougher to measure, we would even add mental health to this observation.

Examples of such values include blood pressure, body-fat percentage, heart rate, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, among others.

“The fittest will have all of their parameters or markers going in the direction of fit,” Seminar Staff Flowmaster and affiliate owner Jenn Hunter-Marshall (CF-L4) explains.

Done right, fitness provides a great margin of protection against the ravages of time and disease. Where you find otherwise, examine the fitness protocol, especially diet. Fitness is and should be “super-wellness.” Sickness, wellness, and fitness are measures of the same entity.

Your body shows the measure of your fitness. If you stop exercising, your progress stops and before long, you’ll decline quickly. But if you push past your current limits, you gain strength and shine, as though decorated with treasures. In fitness, there’s no real limit to how far you can go.
