In the past, patients suffering from musculo-skeletal pain, pain in the extremities, and disc problems were usually given pain medications, instructed to refrain from physical activities, referred for physical therapy, and when they weren't progressing they were sent for injections and/or surgery. Conservative chiropractic, physical therapy, or acupuncture care proved very helpful in many cases, yet there have been some cases when surgery seemed to be the only other option... until now. NON-SURGICAL SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY (NSSD)
Thanks to the concerted efforts of a team of top physicians and medical engineers, Spinal Decompression Therapy was developed to effectively treat lower back pain and sciatica resulting from herniated or degenerated discs. Spinal Decompression Therapy not only significantly reduces back pain in many patients, but also enables the majority of patients to return to more active lifestyles. Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is a noninvasive treatment that involves delivery of acoustic shock waves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing. ESWT is effective in accelerated tissue repair and cell growth, pain relief, and restoring /improving motion. ESWT is a viable option to consider for many patients who present with chronic tendinopathy that hasn't responded to more-conservative treatments.
