✨STUDENT SPOTLIGHT✨ “Hi my name is Taya Olson and I am a PA-S1 from Williston, ND. I am a wife to a very patient husband and a mom to a hyper charcoal lab and a 1 year old beautiful little girl. I look forward to seeing my chaotic little family every day after school. I want to become a PA because I would like the ability to work in different specialties to optimize work-life balance. I was just awarded a scholarship through National Health Service Corps! This scholarship pays for my tuition, living, and supplies for all of PA school. In return, I will work in a medically underserved area for 2 years. I am excited for the opportunity to serve a rural community!” -Taya Olson, PA-S1

✨MEET THE PA DEPT.✨ “I have been the Education Assistant for the Physician Assistant Program going on 3 years. I work a lot with first year students and help with the enrollment of incoming students. My favorite part of the job is getting to know new students as they are enrolled. I live in Vermillion with my significant other Tim who works for the City of Vermillion and we have 4 children Jeffrey (32), Kyle (29), Mason (24) & Taryn (18). I also have 2 grandkids, Willow Mae (5) and Hudson Wade (1). My favorite place to be is at our cabin spending time with family and friends and boating on the weekends. I also love to bake when the weather starts getting cooler!” -Becky Anglin
