I am practicing what I preach!

The numbness in my hand is driving me crazy! My fingertips are so sensitive from almost 7 years of massage, not being able to feel anything is almost painful. Painful mentally, emotionally, and the pins and needles add physically.

All the things I am currently doing to heal my body and specifically my hand:

I have been thinking about all of my clients...

I have been massaging at the Chirocenter for a few years now, and have made friends and what I hope would be lifelong clientele, but life has proven once again that things change in the blink of an eye.

My family will be relocating to Texas sometime in October or November. We are currently trying to sell our house and with a newborn, things have been less than easy. 🥴 As I mentioned in my previous post, I had complications before giving birth, with the main issue being swelling.

The amount of swelling I had in my hands has left me with some painful carpal tunnel symptoms. It's mainly in my right hand and even though I've been working on it myself, I still have numbness and some burning pain in my fingers and thumb. It is getting better slowly and hopefully will continue to improve but so far it looks like it may be a while before I can massage again.

I want to plan on being back for a short time in September to make sure everyone has the opportunity to use prepaid sessions but now it really will depend on if I can gain feeling back in my hand. I will be updating my page a few times a week to make sure I am fully transparent on when or if I am coming back to the Chirocenter.

If I don't come back please be reassured that I will do my absolute best to get refunds out to those who still have prepaid sessions. I don't know when I'd be able to refund but I will be in communication with everyone seeking that kind of resolution.

Hello everyone!

I am past due on giving an update. 😅 sorry about that.
After having even more complications and sickness I was induced 2 weeks early. I brought my little boy into the world on July 15th around 1pm and life has been a blur of sleepless nights, feedings, and dirty diapers. 🩵
This is Callan, he has very deep thoughts for a baby 😆 he is growing and thriving and just a really good baby.

Thank you to all the clients and family that reached out with prayers and congratulations!

I will be posting a separate update for my intended plans for massage later tonight, I just wanted to share this little sweetheart.

Hello, everyone!
I am being forced into early maternity leave. I have been so sick with, what feels like, everything going around this year. I haven't been able to catch a break, so I will be taking it easy until my baby arrives.
The current plan is to be back to work in September, but I won't really have an official date until after the baby is here. I will be posting updates here as they come, but please try to keep messaging to a minimum.
Thank you to everyone for all of the well wishes and support over the last couple of very difficult months. I really do believe I have the best clients! 😘

Hello!
As many of you know, I had a nasty RSV bug for the last week and a half, and I have had to cancel many sessions. I am finally starting to feel better! I shouldn't be contagious anymore, but I do have a lingering cough. Until my cough is gone, I will be using a mask during sessions.
I am hoping to keep all my appointments already scheduled starting on Tuesday, but please be patient with me! I am currently needing to reschedule nearly 20 clients, and I only work 10-13 hours in a week.
If I canceled with you, you can expect a text or call to reschedule tomorrow or Tuesday. Although... your session could be a few weeks out. I wish there was another me!

Thank you to all of my very understanding clients, especially to those who have checked in on me while being sick and on bed rest! ❤️

I have been getting lots of questions about physical gift certificates. I do have them.... kind of. The issue is, all of my gift certificates have to be purchased over my booking site and if it's for someone else they are sent the gift immediately. So if it's meant to be Christmas present it ruins the surprise.
If you'd like a physical gift certificate I am willing to give you one, if you promise to purchase it on Christmas.

Alright! I have my Infant Massage classes available! Please let me know if you are interested!
I will be covering a wide range of basic massage techniques for infants, that can be used into early childhood.
The first class is tomorrow at 11am at the Chirocenter.

This class is $35 and will cover:
