Howdy Uinta Yogis! If you're interested in our 6am classes - this is a friendly reminder to sign-up and register for the classes, before 9pm the night before. ;-) If you're not setting your alarm to get up and get your stretches in, we will follow suite and allow for more rest as well.

Ecstatic Dance

Join us for a special evening of movement and support for our beloved yoga teacher and friend, Hanna. After a recent bicycle accident, she has a long road to recovery ahead, and we are coming together as a community to stand by her. All donations from this event will go directly to Hanna to help her on her healing journey.

This is a powerful opportunity to not only care for yourself but to care for a member of our community who needs our support now more than ever.

**What is Ecstatic Dance?**
Ecstatic Dance is a form of free-form, organic movement where you can let go of choreography and judgment and simply move as your body feels called. It's a space for release and connection. This is a profound and deeply personal practice that allows for powerful collective healing.

**What to Expect:**
* A welcoming and inclusive space for all ages, all fitness levels, and all bodies.
* Music designed to inspire a wide range of organic movement.
* The freedom to move however you feel led—dance, stretch, sway, or rest quietly.
* A non-verbal, non-judgmental environment.
* A container of safety and presence where you can feel free to express without holding back.

**Guidelines for Our Sacred Space:**
To ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone's journey, we ask that you honor the following guidelines:
* **No Talking:** This is a non-verbal space. Communicate through body language and movement.
* **No Shoes:** Dance barefoot to connect with the earth and the space.
* **No Phones/Videos:** We ask that all phones remain out of the shala room during the dance. This ensures that everyone feels safe to express themselves authentically without the stress of being recorded.
* **No Substances:** Please arrive sober and fully present.

**Event Details:**
* **When:** Friday, August 29th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
* **Where:** Uinta Yoga, 74 East Main Street, Vernal
* **Cost:** Donation-based, all proceeds will go to Hanna
