Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, one of the most tragic days in our nation’s history, but also one of the most powerful demonstrations of American courage and unity. In the face of unimaginable loss, first responders, healthcare workers, and everyday citizens rushed toward danger to save others. Their grit, sacrifice, and love of country showed us the very best of the American spirit.
In the days and years that followed, we stood together; resilient, compassionate, and united. That spirit of unity is needed now more than ever.
