Yesterday was the Day of The Horse. 💜 They give us so much, as friendship, transportation, companionship, sports, therapy, hobbies, teaching us, and so much love. This coming year, 2026, will be The Year of the Horse which signifies energy, freedom, independence, and adventurousness. 2026 is going to be a great year. I can feel it galloping in with so much positive energy. 🐴 These two horses are mother and daughter. Their bond is so deep.

All I want for Christmas is…
• less judgment from people who have no idea what profound autism looks like
• more honesty in a space where parents are scared to say the truth
• fewer lectures from self-appointed “advocates” who’ve never lived my life
• more nuance so kids like Charlie don’t disappear
• less outrage about symbols and words
• more energy for the parents running on fumes
• less pretending that every autistic person’s experience is interchangeable
• more room for conversations that include the hard parts
• less performative acceptance
• more real support

And honestly?

A world where parents of profoundly autistic kids don’t have to defend their reality every time they open their mouths. 💁🏻‍♀️
