Plainfield Fire Co. #1 will be hosting a class on Saturday, March 28. Space is limited. Registration is open. See you there!

The current officers and members of CT Fire Police Association extend our condolences to the family of Carl Catalanotto.

Our former president and a longtime member of New Fairfield Fire Department died last week.

An FPO operating at the Snow Flake Parade in Jewett City (Griswold) was the victim of a hit and run incident last night.

The FPO was transported to Backus Hospital in Norwich, and reportedly treated for minor injuries. The FPO was one of two members of JCFD injured in separate incidents last night. Both are home recovering.

Thoughts and prayers to the Georgetown (DE) Fire Company FPO who was critically hurt in the line of duty Monday night. Our thoughts are also with his fire company, and friends and family.

A fire police officer was critically hurt Monday evening after being struck by a car at the intersection of Shingle Point Road and Lewes-Georgetown Highway.

CFPA hosts two meetings each year, including a biannual meeting each November. The 20025 Biannual meeting is planned for tomorrow in Sandy Hook.

CT Fire Police Association conducts two business meetings each year.
Our 2025 Biannual meeting is scheduled for four weeks from today, on Saturday, November 1, at Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue's main station.

If you would like to learn more and/or meet fire police officer members from across the state, please join us. If you decide you'd like to join the association after attending the meeting, applications will be available.

The officers and members of CT Fire Police Association extend our condolences to South Windsor FIRE Department on the death a few days ago of John M. Kania.
John was a second-generation member of South Windsor FD. He served as a Staff Lieutenant for Company 6/ Support, which included Fire Police for over 9 years. He was also a member of CT Fire Police Association.
