🩺❤️ Yesterday we had our first Health Talk of the year with the Nurse Practitioner, and it was a great success!

The topic was “Take Care of Your Motor” — and the motor is your heart! She did a wonderful job explaining how to stay healthy, keep our hearts strong, and make smart choices with food and drinks. She shared many helpful examples and simple tips we can use every day.

We had lots of participation and plenty of questions! 😂 A special moment was when Miss Veronica was very concerned about her oatmeal. She wanted to know if she could still eat it and if it was healthy. When the nurse practitioner asked what she puts in it, she paused and said: “Raisins… sugar… cream…” 🤣 The whole room burst out laughing! Then she added, “But they’re all healthy!” LOL!

A big thank you to Shams and her amazing team for making this first health talk of the year so informative, engaging, and fun. We’re already looking forward to the next one! ❤️👏

🍗🧀 Festive Dining at Sodalis!
For our Christmas meal, residents enjoyed Roasted Chicken Florentine with a dinner roll, steamed broccoli with cheddar cheese sauce, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes — a comforting and delicious holiday feast!

Earlier this week, for Wine Down Wednesday, residents savored a delightful fruit and cheese platter, adding even more flavor and fun to the week. 💙

🎉 Staff Party Recap – What a Night to Remember!

Our staff party was the perfect mix of laughter, team-building fun, and well-deserved relaxation for our amazing team. From games and friendly competition to raffle prizes galore — including TVs (congratulations Ebony, Janae, and Terra!) and Ninja appliances — the excitement never stopped.

The highlight of the night? Huge cheers for Kourtnee, our concierge, named Employee of the Year — so well deserved! Santa and his lovely wife made a special appearance, adding extra holiday magic to the celebration.

With delicious soul food, nonstop laughter, and wonderful company, it was truly an unforgettable night. A heartfelt thank you to all our vendors, business partners, families, and friends who donated and supported this event — your generosity made it possible! 🎄✨
