Don’t forget to “fall back”! ⏰

Daylight Saving Time ended this weekend, make sure to check that your clocks are updated. While the extra hour of sleep sounds great for parents, the time change can sometimes throw off our little ones’ routines.

Tips to help your child adjust:
🌙 Start bedtime 10–15 minutes earlier.
☀️ Get plenty of morning sunlight to help reset their internal clock.
🧸 Keep bedtime routines calm and consistent.

A little preparation can make the transition smoother for everyone! 💙

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a common illness in young children, especially during the fall and winter months. For most kids, it looks like a cold—but in babies and young children, it can sometimes become more serious.

Here are some signs of RSV to watch for:
👃 Stuffy or runny nose
😮‍💨 Coughing or wheezing
🥱 Trouble feeding or unusual tiredness
😰 Fast or labored breathing
💙 Bluish color around the lips or fingertips (seek care right away)

Most cases are mild, but it’s important to know when to seek medical attention. If you’re ever unsure, we’re here to help guide you.

👋 Meet Dr. Rupali Vora, DO, FAAP! Dr. Vora is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in South Florida and is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care for children of all ages.

Dr. Vora is known for her warm bedside manner and her ability to connect with children and families on a personal level. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog Milo, as well as traveling, hiking, and watching movies.

We are so grateful to have Dr. Vora as part of our Vero Beach Pediatrics family! 💙
