January 6 marks Epiphany in the Christian liturgical calendar. It's the day recognized as when the Wise men (and women) arrived to Jesus' birthplace. The story goes that these wise people also known as astrologers (they were not of the Christian faith tradition) saw a bright star. 🌟 Because they were studiers of the night sky they were in tune with what was normal. When this bright star appeared they followed it--their curiosity took them on a long journey. No one knows all the details, but some believe Jesus was a toddler when they arrived. The journey likely took several years! I wonder what "stars" or signs might be waiting for us to notice and begin a new journey. Noticing is the first step to an epiphany. astrologersfollowingastartojesus

January offering:
Start the Year with Miracles 🌟

This in-person class is an invitation to explore the Core Principles of A Course in Miracles (ACIM).

This is a four-session class meeting on four consecutive Mondays:

January 5, 12, 19, and 26
From 6:30–7:15 pm. Details below.

Whether you are new to the Course, returning after some time away, or have been a long-time student feeling ready to go deeper, these sessions offer space for getting fresh inspiration, starting the year off right, and diving right into the essential teachings to give your learning a jump start. And it's going to be fun!

Over four evenings, we’ll explore some of the Course’s most essential — and sometimes challenging — ideas, and break them down into simple, easy to understand language with an emphasis on how they can be applied in everyday life. Together we’ll look at how these teachings can support greater peace, clarity, and inner freedom.

Each session will include an opening concept, group readings, and discussion, all within a supportive and friendly group setting. We'll learn by asking questions and by sharing our interpretations and personal experiences.

All class materials provided. 📘

Facilitated by Kathryn Joy

I have been a devoted student of A Course in Miracles for over 35 years and have led study groups and workshops for more than a decade. I especially enjoy bringing ACIM concepts to students in a simple and understandable way, allowing them engage with the Course in ways that feel practical, relevant, and human. I hope you'll join us!

Feel free to pass along to a friend or better yet, bring them! 🙂
